Türkiye için namaz

A little big bang hit Turkey today, an article about it can be found here. Magnitude 7.2, at least 1000 dead and 10 buildings down, many others hurt and damaged. A warning from Namazu that the long expected big one will hit Istanbul soon, causing a Tsunami in the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara? Read the sings: The epicenter of the quake was on the other side of Turkey, but in the Van Province. Home of the Turkish Van („Van Kedisi“):

Turkish Van in it's element.

A Fishcat? Correct, it’s the only cat in the world that LOVES water, it’s even difficult to get it OUT of the pool or INSIDE the house when it rains.  Don’t try, it doesn’t get closer to a Catfish, which is „Kedi Balığı“ or „Kedi Balıkları“ in Turkish. „Kedi“ is cat and „Balığı /Balıkları“ is fish, that simple.

But wait, there’s more Namazu in it: Wanna pray for Turkey? That would be a „Türkiye için namaz“. No, really, „Namaz“ is Turkish (based on Arabic, in „real Turkish“ it’s „Dua“) for prayer. I’ve already asked the artist Abd el Ghani if he would like to do some Catfish Calligraphy, Namaz(u) in Arabic letters:

Now, would you like to help? This is what this website is about, so maybe you could spare some money for a online donation to the Red Crescent. Or if you don’t care about poor people (the east of Turkey belongs to the 3rd world), to the WSPA. For the amazing Fishcats at least. And say a prayer that the idiots in Ankara will drop this beyond belief idiotic plan.
