Change your mind

Namazu is really pissed today, some people don’t listen to his warnings. They ignore the fact that the disaster of Fukushima goes on and on and can happen everywhere and anytime, there’s no need for an earthquake and a tsunami. Now four European countries went totally crazy and demand subsidies for nuclar power, read about their sick applied logic here. In case you don’t kow, there always have been more or less hidden subsidies. Atomic electricity isn’t cheap, we pay twice. And the people of Japan pay a third time, with their money and their lifes. Are politicans unable to change their mind with brains? Artists can, 1975 the German band KRAFTWERK (= „Power Plant“) released their album „Radio-Activity“, a seemingly praise of technology, the lyrics of the title song became a mantra for nuclear nerds. The re-recording from 1991 got things straight, watch a live performance in Japan from 2002:

Well, not all Germans are that reasonable. Our gouverment in Berlin just did cut subsidies for solar energy, Bavaria blocks wind power plants wherever it can. Now get the main point: „They spoil our picturesque landscape!“. The Bavarian Namazu is most pissed, too…
